We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our event agency in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in an event agency and will be available for interviews in Dubai. This full-time position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the event industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within an event agency.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
- Must be based in Dubai and available for in-person interviews.
